Network Marketing - Why Your Products Mean Nothing

People don't want them - A few years back I was involved in a network marketing company that sold vitamins. My mother bought them from me and she never took them. They sat on her kitchen counter but she ordered every month. I asked her why she bothered to buy them and she told me that she bought them to support my business. So I thought to myself, my mother is spending $30 a month on vitamins so I can make a commission of about $2. She doesn't want them and doesn't take them. That didn't make sense to me. That is when I stopped caring about the products.

Price - No matter what your upline or start up manual tell you, every product that you sell can be bought in Wal-Mart for a quarter of the price. I wash my hair with Suave soap that costs about $2 per bottle and it cleans my hair just as good as a $10 bottle of Network Marketing Company Shampoo. I'm well into my adult years but I still take those kids Flintstone vitamins that I get in my supermarket for $3.99 per bottle of 50 instead of $39.99 a month for MLM Vitamins. I haven't been sick in years.
I go to a lot of network marketing pitch meetings. I try to attend at least 1 per week. At almost every single one of them, it's about 90% product and 10% money.

If you want to be successful, pitch your new recruits using 95% money and 5% product. The product should be mentioned as a cost of doing business. The product is nothing more than a tool that is used to keep your organization in line.

Network marketing is a very real business, but it's not structured as a direct sales business, even though the two are often confused. Every new recruit should be taught to buy a small amount of product as a cost of doing business and teach others to do the same.

Concentrate on recruiting, not selling and make sure you teach your recruits to do the same. If you concentrate your efforts on selling product, your career in network marketing will be short and not very sweet.
Good luck and much success!

I managed to build an organization of about 10,000 in 3 months. I continue to get hundreds of sponsorships each week. My business is on auto-pilot.
